5/5 stars [i mean,,,, duh]

can i get a WHAT WHAT for anti-war stances in manga that show the horrors and fatalities of war and make the western-coded invaders the ones who are evil/at fault thank u hiromu arakawa i owe u my life!!!!

Honestly, though, so much happened in this volume. There's vore, there's reverse-vore in a very Alien-esque fashion, there's some backstory for loads of characters and we learn even more about the war itself [armstrong baby ily], we finally learn more about Father [hohenheim i'm so sorry, you're still a shitty father but at least now I know it wasn't because you were evil, it's just cause you're shit, and i can judge you for that and that alone], and my favourite character came back!!! Greed FTW!!!
