it's interesting to read the manga after watching the anime since i don't remember fmab going into nearly as much detail about the ishvalan war as the source material. don't get me wrong i love the anime, but i feel like some of the severity of the plot is taken away by ignoring such an important part of the original story. also greedling ftw
