So happy to see Sally get her HEA!! And since she us such a handful she definitely needs two Doms to control her!! Such a lovely story, as always be Cherise!! Love the characters, the action, the emotion and the drama that always seems to follow the Shadowkittens!! I am hoping to meet Cherise in November at book signing in Sydney Australia, so I am super excited for that!!

I am a big fan of Cherise Sinclair's Masters of the Shadowlands BDSM romance series. I have slowly been working my way through the series and let myself read one between other books as a treat to myself.

I was really excited to finally read Sally's story. She's always been a fun character and I liked the idea of her with the two serious Feds. While I definitely liked this book - there were lots of great moments between the three not to mention really intense love sex scenes - I did not love it as much as I'd hoped. Sally has a lot of issues because of her jerk of a dad, but she was constantly jumping to the wrong conclusions and running away. She eventually learned not to but I did find her behavior frustrating at times. I also had a hard time believing that a smart woman like Sally would think that it was a good and safe idea to hack into the files of a dangerous sex slave operation. The characterization of Sally's father was also a little too over the top to be truly believable to me. There are probably people like him out in the world but he seemed a little extreme to me and I would have bought into his character more if he had been toned done a little.

I am also super sick of The Harvest Association. They've been a big part of the last few books and I was really hoping for a book that didn't involve them. I'm glad they were finally brought down though and hopefully this is the last that we see of this despicable organization.

I thought Sally, Vance and Galen were a great match. I haven't read any books involving a threesome couple so I wasn't sure what to expect. While the dynamic is slightly different with three people instead of two, Sinclair does a very good job of writing a believable relationship between all three characters. I liked the camaraderie between Vance and Galen and Sally provided some levity and joy to their lives. I won't pretend to know anything about real D/s or threesome relationships, but this felt authentic to me. I could see why these characters would be drawn together and they work well as a unit.

Of course we can't visit the world of The Shadowlands without a visit from some of the other characters in the series. It was nice to see some of my favorite Doms and subs again. Dan and Kari also get a little storyline in this one and it's very sweet and sexy. The book's ending did feel a little cheesy with everyone and their HEAs, but hey, this is a romance series so I can go with it. If you have an open mind and like erotic romance, I definitely recommend this series. I am not sure exactly where Sinclair plans to take the series after this since most of the main characters are now settled. Whatever it is, I know that I will be reading it.

Less angsty than previous Shadowland books. For when a Domme book?

Another great addition to the series. I liked seeing Sally as a bit of a nerd vs just a brat. Loved Galen and Vance although in my head I kept switching up the physical descriptions and back stories. Who's up next?

So this one was ok for me. I feel like there were some missed opportunities in this book.

Coming into this, I was excited to read more about Sally. She's been a trainee I think since the beginning and hasn't really piqued anyone's interest until the last book. I really liked her in the last one, but I'm not so sure how I feel after this one. My biggest issue with her was she acted like she hasn't been in the BDSM lifestyle and was almost like Jessica thinking everyone was "hurting" their subs. Or at one point, she was getting an attitude with Nolan because he had Beth get him something and she had to be reminded that all subs are different. Really?!?!? She's been around for this long and now that she's the focal point she is written like it's her first day. Yeah, I'm not ok with that. It's a running pattern I've noticed that all females have major self-doubt issues. And Sally was no exception.

I liked Vance and Galen. But there was a missed opportunity with them. We didn't get really any background as to why these two have chosen to live together, top together, share a sub, etc... We see that Lance hates liars because his ex-wife was a liar and Galen's wife was killed because of a case he was working on. I knew they were partners because they were introduced several books ago. However, I really would have loved to get more background on them vs. why Sally is so insecure.

I LOVED that we saw Kari and Dan again. I really loved them, and they don't get a lot of extra time in these books. But when we do see them, guess what??? Kari is insecure about her body because she had a baby. I'm glad they figure it out, but still.

I'm not trying to pick this book apart, but at this point, I'm 8 books in and I feel like we should be getting something more. I'm super glad this Harvest Association stuff is done with or it seems to me anyway. I am curious where the next books go, but I'm really hoping we get some different issues with the women instead of what we've been getting.
