Cute!!! I really enjoyed reading about these 2 tiny Asian girls going through elementary school! Every plot point is foreshadowed really well without being too obvious, these two girls are adorable, and I loved seeing the struggles of being too Asian vs too American as a person that’s been through that. It’s just wholesome and good and I was rooting for them so much!
Moon, be my best friend please :))❤️

this was such a sweet and endearing story about friendship and everything else.
I really liked this story. This is a perfect graphic novel to introduce to younger readers. Maybe grade 5-6. It’s a really nice message about friendship and another graphic novel in the Asian-American perspective.
Cute story touching on who we are, what makes us who we are, who our families expect us to be, friendship and how those tie together.
I wish that it was longer!!! I definitely feel like the story could be fleshed out longer and have the same reconciliation with my parents
Super-authentic story about the variety of individuality even in the most tight-knit communities who come from the same place. A gently told story about the things that make us different, what brings us together, the power dynamics in a friendship beyond "mean girls", and the fleeting, deep connections we forge we between other humans. Excellent, heart-felt story!
An absolutely lovely read about friendship and self and those awkward tween years. So many feelings!
