I love this book - actually the entire series. A lot of people don't know that this is the 1st book and though I 1st read "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" 1st when I was in 3rd grade. This one still remains my favorite - read many years later LOL.

This book was very simple but it was intended for children so I guess it's ok. I enjoyed the story and I wish that they wouldn't have skipped this book when making the movies! Anyway, I liked the description of the beginning of Narnia and Aslan. I can't wait to finish the rest of the series!

Best Narnia I've read so far, this one leaned into the darkness at first before

a deeply happy ending

. Didn't have the narrator saying sexist nonsense like in the other book. Instead it was just pure magic of exploring two other worlds.

I really loved this book, especially when read after the lion the witch and the wardrobe. It really helps develip the Narnia backstory and I found myself wanting to learn more and more about the development of this world.

The first few chapters were difficult to get into but about half way through I got really into the plot and loved to see how it tied into the start of Lion Witch and Wardrobe!
