ni fu ni fa, realmente vale la pena a partir de la página 150, de ahí para atrás me aburrió bastante, no había avances.
voy a leer el segundo libro porque le tengo fe, pero este no fue bueno.
definitivamente podría haber sido mucho más corto.

I remember reading these in college? high school? and absolutely falling in love with this book among the series. It holds up to my high expectations on re-read.

I will start this by saying I don't think this is the best book in the series, or even objectively a 5-star book at all. However, this book has far too much personal significance to receive anything less than 5 stars. I can't personally pick up on any details I don't like at all, but again that it most likely a long-standing bias for these books in general.
If anyone were to start reading the Chronicles of Narnia for the first time, I would actually recommend starting with release order rather than how they are numbered chronologically. This book is so much more enjoyable when read with the appropriate context of the books written before it which I was I find it so fantastic.
C.S. Lewis has a very simplistic writing style that is perfect for kids but that still carries weight for older readers as well. His narrative style draws you in so easily and the plot flows at the perfect pace. I could probably recite the entire book from memory because of how many times I have listened to the audiobook to fall asleep (PLUS it's narrated by THE Kenneth Branagh). The story itself is so interesting and adds so much the entire series as a whole. It furthers the world these stories take place in by providing so much more lore that isn't really expounded upon much but still adds a lot to the following books.
I adore this book, and it may be my favorite, but I must finish my entire series reread before I definitively decide that. Everyone should read this series!
