4.25/5 stars - Beautiful queer representation!! If I wanted kids, I would be reading this book to them as soon as possible. Such a wonderful tale of belonging, evolving perspectives, acceptance and the importance of individuality.

I will DEFINITELY come back to this one. This just wasn't the right time for me to read this, but I am very interested in it.

This book makes me very, very, very happy. It was so much funnier, more magical and lighter than I had expected and it was absolutely delightful. Much more British too, somehow, weirdly.

Anyway, I just can't stop smiling thinking about it. I could list everything I loved about it, but I suggest you just read yourself. It'll be worth it.

Also, I never wanted any children, but I think I need to revise that now: I don't want any children, unless they're Lucy.

oh, man, this book makes my heart so full. it's a cute blend of the goofy characters, playful dynamics, and humor of Good Omens, with a dash of escapism and romance a la Red, White, and Royal Blue. the narrator for the audio is perfect - though there are some turns of phrase that make it seem like an English narrator might be more fitting, Daniel Henning's voices and mannerisms are perfect for Linus and all the others. I love watching Linus, the children, Arthur, and Zoe grow (I knew she was sapphic!!!) and I definitely look forward to revisiting this whenever I need a sweet comfort read.
