I'm absolutely in love with this book! This is my first read from this author, and I am honestly so impressed. The story of "Three days to fall in love. Six years to try to forget" really hit me hard in the best way.
The chemistry between Ellie and Ash is undeniable. Their connection while interrailing through Europe is immediate and intense, but life and circumstances pull them apart. Fast forward six years, fate gives them another chance at love and it feels like they never left each other’s side. The chemistry between them is absolutely electric, and it’s impossible not to root for their reunion
The characters are well-developed—raw, real, and just so relatable. What really stood out to me was the way the author described the European landscapes and the beauty of Wales. This story has everything—heartbreak, hope, second chances. If you’re looking for a love story that will tug at your heartstrings, this one’s a must-read!

Once again Paige Toon makes me cry and laugh and feel all the emotions!
My heart broke with Ellie’s and Ash’s in Madrid, and was put back together in Wales (and broken again and put together again). I felt the yearning and angst and wanted to lock them in a room together to work things out! I was so happy when things worked out in the cabin, and naming their kids after their besties was so heartwarming.
There’s a reason Paige Toon is an autobuy author, and she never disappoints. She’s great when you need a cathartic cry

What If I Never Get Over You by Paige Toon is a lovely book about lost loves and connections that last over time. After 3 beautiful days together while on an interrailing trip, Ellie and Ash find that they have more than just chemistry with each other, but when a missed date happens, it takes six years to find each other again. When they finally reunite, things are not as they seem. Ellie is taken by surprise as to who Ash really is and she has a hard time accepting their current situations. After a giant miscommunication, lack of trust, and a deep rooted trigger hits Ellie, the two break apart again. Will they ever be able to be together without life’s many problems getting in their way?
I enjoyed this read so very much until the end. The first two of the four parts was beautifully written and the character development was beautiful, but the last two parts were lackluster and not as well thought out. I loved the connection between Ellie and Ash, and the characters at Berkeley were fun and refreshing. The ending felt rushed and more like half thought out ideas that didn’t do the characters justice. Overall, I couldn’t put the book down!
I give this book a 3.75/5 due to the ending. I was so entrenched in this book and the ending left me frustrated and wanting more.
I am so thankful to Paige Toon, Penguin Random House, and NetGalley for this ARC.
