I adore Paige Toon books and usually devour them in a few hours, I felt this was weaker than her previous books and it didn't pull on my heartstrings quite as much. 
I loved the setting and the premise of the story but I wanted heartache before having my heart put back together.

This is the first book I've read from Paige Toon and I loved her writing style - so easy and quick to read! I really liked both characters she developed, but didn't quite understand Ellie's stubbornness that she wouldn't fit into Ash's world in the second part. I also wish the wider cast of characters were a little more developed!
