My boy Kindergatener brought this home (AR reading). He wrestled a bit with some of the words so he read it 3 times to really understand. But he didn't mind, as he loved it. He greatly enjoyed the comparisons made a quarter, a football, human babies are born with zero teeth, etc , and I think they helped make the material more graspable for him. Plus, it is just fun having your kid tell your husband as he empties his pockets, "You know, if this coin was more like a sphere, then it'd be the size of the smallest dinosaur egg scientists know about! Isn't that cool, Dad?" He wanted it to be a series with more info on different kinds of dinosaurs. That's a pretty positive sign.
