I really like this book. I like the characters and appreciate them going through some ethical questions. Can't wait to read the next one.

It was a good mystery. I know this was set a few years ago but still her ex partner's obvious homophobia and the police chief discriminating against her is grating. however in today's world I shouldn't be surprised because bigotry is back in.

that being said i definitely enjoying the series

A Book That Contains “Salty,” “Sweet,” “Bitter,” or “Spicy”.

Very light fluffy mystery novel in a series. Predictable and trite.

I liked the main character, but not the domestic violence murder angle. Few men seem to be murdered in this particular series, I've noticed.
