A disappointing book for me, but admittedly I've never been into superhero stuff. I'm a big fan of Alan Moore and so my expectations were admittedly very high. However, I just found the joker not the least bit frightening and he is, excuse the pun, just a bit of a joke for me. He has nothing on, for instance, the villain in Alan Moore's From Hell, who has a genuinely evil aura. I suppose I liked the origin story part of the book, but yeah, really not my cup of tea.
