This book is very trite, even for self-help. Even though there were nuggets of good advice here and there, there are paragraphs of analogies so ludicrous that , even if you were already sympathetic, would discredit whatever point he was trying to make. There are exercises and prayers here that can be helpful, but they’ve also been done in other works without a veneer of exoticism, trivializations, and insulting universalizations.

There are some good nuggets, but overall I don’t agree with the oversimplification of peoples’ problems in life.
