Okay, Freida did it again. I read this in one day! Her books always tend to be page turners for me but I liked this one more than the last one that I read (The Coworker). Of course, true to her style there are parts that are way over the top and every character seems unreliable and unhinged with things they’re hiding. Right when I thought I had it all figured out, the final twist took me totally by surprise and it took me a good 10 minutes to even process it. But that’s all part of the rollercoaster ride!

Quick synopsis: Addie is starting junior year after she was involved in a scandal with a teacher, resulting in him getting fired and her reputation getting ruined. Eve and her husband Nate both teach at the same school, and while they seem happy on the surface they’re really not. All three of these characters are keeping big secrets that are all connected in some way.
