I started this book about three times before actually getting into it enough to finish. The beginning (once invested) was a strong start, but from there it just fell apart for me. There were lots of details I did not find relevant and subtracted from the overall plot and mystery. Still overall entertaining, just not a shining star personally.

Every Last Fear is about a family who's spent years fighting the wrongful conviction of the eldest son. When the family is found deceased in their hotel in Mexico under strange circumstances, Matt and FBI agent Keller must discover why the family went on the spur the moment trip and who would want to hurt them.
I adored Keller. The fact that she goes out of her way for a small bit of justice for Maggie posthumously makes me love her even more. My heart hurts that the whole family was in the crossfire. There are so many moments I felt anger for the family, from the police coercion of Danny, to mismanagement of evidence, both cases had their issues.
The end felt so bittersweet, but I was okay with the ending. This was a great thriller.
