Billy and Scathach make a fantastic team. I hope to see more of them together! :-D

This is a spin-off from the fantastic series Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel.
Billy the Kid helps Sacrath rescue a friend in Las Vegas after he is sent from his Master to give Sacrath an object that has been around for years. What is in the package and can it help them on their quest?

I love the books in the Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flamel and series and was thrilled to discover this short story that centers on Billy the Kid and Scathach.

I adore Scathach in the series and it was interesting to see their first interaction with Billy the Kid. This story is packed with action and adventure as they battle the vampyres of Vegas.

I definitely recommend this story to anyone that likes the Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flamel series. If you like YA fiction with mythology then I recommend you try this series if you haven't already.

Fun, quick, easy read!  Loved the banter between Scatty and Billy.
Super bummed about Setanta’s betrayal of Scatty, though!

That was cute. I'm actually surprised at how much I liked that for something that was so short it couldn't even really be considered a novella. Billy the Kid is just very cute, and I admire his friendship with Scathach.

5 star; probably more around 4 star actually

The story features how Billy and Scatty actually know one another (as they've never met on page in the main series events). Theres a character from legend I had hoped to see and was mentioned in the main series that appears- part of my reason for being hyped while reading this since I wanted to see how his portrayal was handled.

Basically it's two fun characters being "partners in crime" together whi didn't get to interact in the main story
