I listened to the audio while following along in ebook ...

I saw the reviews not interested in Abbi's life on the farm. However, I actually enjoyed it.

Of course, I could have done away with her mother and Jed.

I did love seeing Henry trying to be there for Abbi, even though he was busy with running everything.

Having someone like Abbi's mother in my life reminded me of my own challenges, trying to choose my SELF and making it my own without having her there to insert herself in everything.

I also enjoyed seeing the growth of Henry and his feelings for Abbi. She needed someone like him just as he needed someone like her.

The last few chapters had me clutching my pearls 🫠💦 Sheesh!
