Holiday audiobooks have been dominating my TBR this season, and "Merry Kissmas" was the perfect cozy novella to quench that festive thirst! A heartfelt thank-you to narrators Shane East and Stella Hunter for this delightful audiobook experience.
This story is everything you want in a holiday romance: forced proximity, one bed (because of course there’s a mix-up), a second chance at love, and a swoon-worthy British MMC who will have you melting like snow on Christmas morning. Shane East’s rich, velvety narration as Pierce is the stuff of dreams (seriously, I’d listen to him read my grocery list). Stella Hunter perfectly captures Brynn’s confident, no-nonsense charm.
Pierce is a walking green flag—flirty, thoughtful, and utterly devoted. Brynn’s self-assured maturity makes their chemistry electric, with plenty of "will they/won’t they" moments to keep you hooked.
Short, sweet, and brimming with festive magic, "Merry Kissmas" is a low-drama holiday rom-com that leaves you warm, fuzzy, and grinning ear to ear. Highly recommend grabbing the audio for an extra dash of spice and charm!

I really enjoyed Pierce and Brynn’s story. They met years ago at college and spent a weekend together. When Monday came and she walked into the class that he was her teachers assistant. Things ended between them. Now years later they are both interviewing for the same job. He then ends up going on her family’s Christmas vacation where they are forced to spend time together. While paired together during competitions she starts to let her walls down seeing & feeling the chemistry between them is still there.
I had the joy of receiving the ARC for this adorable holiday novella. If you want a sweet and funny holiday romance, look no further. A fun mix of enemies to lovers, family banter, forced proximity and just generally adorable sweetness. A slow burn and not very spicy, but very enjoyable.
Perfect for anyone wanting to get into the Christmas spirit: we have gingerbread house building, tree decorating, skiing and all kinds of wintery and Christmassy activities and shenanigans. At just over 200 pages, it was a fast and easy read, which I enjoyed a lot.
I wish it had been slightly spicier or more of a medium burn, but it worked as it was also. Enjoyable and festive.
Thanks to Piper Rayne and Valentine PR for the ARC.

Brynn and Pierce had a fling 6 years ago and now they’re stuck spending Christmas together with her slightly meddling family. The holiday shenanigans that follow were fun. This book screamed hallmark movie in the best ways.
Thank you to Valentine PR for the chance to review this ARC.

This is a cute holiday romance book. I like that it took the competition family rivalry Christmas traditions can have and added a twist of it being in pairs. I thought the relationship of the MC was cute and I was rooting for them the whole time. Super cute and easy to read.

This book got me really excited for Christmas! It had all the Christmas vibes and was a short and sweet story to start off my holiday reads for the year.
I really enjoyed the writing in this book. I found it super easy to read quickly and I felt the chapters and length of the novel suited this Christmas romance. I also really liked the whole setting of the novel in a small Christmas villa that had all the vibes. And the forced proximity of the two main characters was executed really well. I enjoyed the side characters a lot and I liked the family dynamics that were shown. Especially seeing the parents and how they worked so hard to include everyone and make everyone feel loved and celebrated during the Christmas season.
Now I didn’t really like the characters. I didn’t connect with them and I felt their love story was just unbelievable and not realistic. I get it’s fiction and all, but I just couldn’t believe that after 2 days together, and then 6 years apart, that they were in love. They just didn’t show it that much and I just wasn’t into them together and their love story. I didn’t feel they had much depth, particularly the female main character, and weren’t characterised well. This definitely is attributed to the short length of the novel, but I feel there could have been more effective ways to provide that emotion and connection to the characters. I wasn’t a huge fan of the male main character either, and just didn’t find his storyline and his emotions realistic. Without that connection or depth to the characters, I found this book lacklustre and just didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought.
Overall, if you are looking for a low-commitment, short and sweet Christmas romance then this is the one for you!

This was a really cute Christmas story. Brynn and Peirce had a weekend fling 6 years ago in London which abruptly ended when they discovered Pierce was actually her teachers assistant in her college course. The two come crashing back together when they both end up at the same job interview in New York.
I really enjoyed the dynamic between these two. Pierce was immediately smitten with Brynn again as soon as he saw her and all those emotions came rushing back to him. I liked watching him gently try to break down the wall Brynn had built up to protect herself.
Brynn’s family was so fun! I loved the Christmas competition and how seriously they all took it. Overall, this was a really cute and quick read!
