I'm sorry that my full review hasn't gotten up yet. My computer has been giving me issues. Until I can get it up, I will say that I enjoyed this book very much.
The characters that you fell in love with in the first book return with more fantasy fun, which includes witty banter, a smart-mouth-no-BS heroine, and a continuing plot that I liked quite a bit. The unfortunate clichéd aspects that bothered me in book one do continue onwards in the sequel, but they are a bit more refined and less in numbers. I'm hoping that the final instalment will remove them entirely because that will further emphasise the writing and storytelling. 3.75 outta 5 stars.

Soooo much better than the first book! Now I can't wait for the third! It finally got into X-Men territory near the end of the first book and continued throughout this one. I loved the powers and the love triangle, for once, didn't drive me insane.
