An interesting premise, but this had no HEA and so much was left unresolved. The second book brings in a new lady of Wolfbridge, so is nothing from this first one resolved? Frustrating conclusion to an otherwise good book.
Beautiful story, a great romance with chemistry between characters.
I wasn’t too keen on the dear diary scenes as they felt a little repetitive of the scenes already read and didn’t expand too much. So I did end up skimming sections which was a shame. Would have liked a little more story and involvement with the characters and their development.
But overall lovely book

I liked the story just fine, but for any other readers out there: to me this isn't a reverse harem. Reverse harem means that she doesn't have to choose in the end. In the end of this novel she decides to be with only one man, even though there are various love interests throughout the novel. So just a heads up, since this is labeled as reverse harem.
A new choice from this author and I think she rocked it off the dance floor. As I was finishing the story it was a dark and stormy day & night here and it brought the entire book to life (you'll see what I mean when you read it). The author brings her signature knowledge of the Regency era to this newest series, and the romance is ALIVE within the words. I could have highlighted most of the book for some of the wonderful romantic paragraphs. As someone who is fairly new to the RH genre, this book just made me melt. I can't wait to see what happens with the newest Lady of Wolfbridge Manor.
I was super into this book for about the first three quarters. Then the heroine chose one of the guys. I don't read RH so at the end the heroines decide they're monogamous after all. Plus, I felt like I was told rather than shown the choice she made so I didn't buy it.
There are lots of unanswered questions. The second book seems to be about someone else, which would have been fine but I still feel so let down by the author's decision to, in fact, have the heroine choose among her men that I'll never read anything else she writes.
