It's unsettling and exciting, but also sometimes so unbelievable that it feels a bit dumb.

This has been one of my favorite books thus far. I could not put it down. The author keeps you hooked and has you questioning a lot of things. Trying to figure out why Alicia did what she did, why she ended up not speaking, and why Theo showed so much interest in her was a ride. I honestly did not see the plot twist at the end coming! I thought I knew where the story was going but boy was I wrong! I would have never guessed it until I got to the last couple chapters and was able to piece it all together. I was 100% surprised and kept thinking about it!

The writing is great, but there are too many plot holes. So many details don’t actually make sense. I’m a bit underwhelmed.
