Again, I am amazed with Riordan's effortless ability to introduce new character, upon new character, into an already solid series. This time we meet the Bianca and Nico di Angelo, two new half-bloods, but we also get a close look at the other gods and goddesses.
I am completely trapped in the storyline and find it difficult to put this book down for even a moment. And if you read this and don't laugh when they reach Hoover Dam, well then I feel very sorry for you and you might want to consider getting your pulse checked. This is by far the funniest installment in the series to date.
