Loved this lil ghost story in a retail giant. Very spooky, some parts made my heart race. Some parts were super gross and made me feel sick (I’m glad I wasn’t eating while reading) like the seance scene.

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Fun. Campy. Goofy. I guess. It's pop horror with heavy amounts of torture and antisemitism. I read it, don't remember much of it. I can't recommend it, tbh. If it weren't for the hook of 'wink not Ikea wink!' I don't think it would be particularly compelling.

Also. You can't make something terrifying and horrific without references to real life antisemitic genocide? You suck.

major body horror, rats, unsanitary, vomit, gore, blood, suicide, torture, etc.
major antisemitism, Shoah / Auschwitz mention. Like why.... Content straight from the book:
“The hard work makes Orsk your family, and the hard work is free.” But the running water had worn away many of the letters. Now, it simply read: “Work makes you free.”
