I got this book without knowing anything about it except that it looked like an IKEA catalog! I thought the supernatural elements were well thought-out and drew on horror tropes that are popular for a reason. And I love how Grady Hendrix writes gore!!! Amy’s (and Basil’s!) character development was a highlight for me and I thought she was a perfect horror lead. Also, always a fan of a creative format for a novel so major points for the illustrations and product descriptions as well!

 Hororstör ha sido una novela llena de imaginación en su formato, y es eso en lo que más destaca. Los inicios de capítulo se convierten en parte propia de la historia, que no destaca en sí especialmente más allá del espacio donde se desarrolla, pero es que ese es el propio objetivo del libro. Adoro cómo el autor crea el ambiente y cómo es capaz de mezclar momentos de comedia con otros llenos de sangre, el final abierto creo que es de lo mejor que podría haber hecho. Los personajes están bien construidos, aunque caen mucho en tópicos son cómicos y carismáticos a su propia manera. 

Estoy disfrutando mucho los dos libros del autor y cómo construye su propio estilo. Para mí, el terror cómico se ha convertido en su marca personal totalmente.
