Great addition to the series
I've been waiting for Rebecca and Mate's story for about a year now and it didn't disappoint. It was a fun, sexy read with the occasional palindrome to keep things interesting.

I want my rich sweet man to come sweep me off my feet. I want to be an independent woman but I need Nate to come whisk me away. I loved Rebecca and I loved her personality. I just really did enjoy getting to know them as friends then as a couple. Nate really proved himself as a truly caring man who would fight for his girl. He always just wanted to make her happy and try to not overstep. He had a heart of gold and I just wanted to kiss him all the time. I loved this freaking book so much. Please read it because it sets itself up for such an amazing series. I loved the whole team and I loved all the girls. I just felt so freaking happy the whole time.

I really enjoyed it! I loved the pining from the hero and the romance was so delicious. There was a little conflict that I felt was a bit left field and added nothing to the story but other then that, I enjoyed this!

Nate and Becca’s story was so enjoyable!
I loved their dynamic and that neither character is “typical”
It is a bit slow burn with a satisfying journey to the HEA.
I adored them both and the pace of the story was perfect!

Really, really good! I’d say the best in the series so far. It’s a great friends-to-lovers billionaire romance with actual hockey content! It would be a five star read but it relied too much on false conflict to move the story forward.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Fire/Fire injury and Medical content
Minor: Pregnancy and Violence

I was continually frustrated by the MMC and his endless money but lack of awareness of the FMCs needs/position. This was a bit too real of a billionaire. He forgot what it’s like to worry about money.

My favorite of the series, but that's probably due to shipping this couple since book one. Plus some more backstory was given which is always nice.

A solid 3.5 stars, rounding up.
Let's just put it out there, I hate the cover on this. 'Naked man' covers really just don't do it for me, and it's the reason it's taken me 18 months since I downloaded it to bring myself to read it, despite extremely solid reviews. I think I dislike it even more having read it, as it really doesn't reflect the character of the male lead. (Also, he's a tech billionaire . . . and in the real world, they look like Elon Musk, not this cover model).
But the story itself was a pile of fun. I love competent romances - where the central couple talk to each other like real adults while they navigate a new relationship, instead of the central conflict coming from a lack of honest conversation. The characters and their motivations were totally believable, and got you on board with their relationship from the outset. On top of that, this was full of slightly nerdy banter.
Docking a star
