Really, really good! I’d say the best in the series so far. It’s a great friends-to-lovers billionaire romance with actual hockey content! It would be a five star read but it relied too much on false conflict to move the story forward.

I liked the characters, but the book outlined the problems well and then glossed over them quickly.

I totally judged this book by it’s cover, but it exceeded my expectations!

It’s a cute, fluffy story with mostly interesting characters. I appreciated that the main couple actually communicated with one another. Miscommunication is one of my least favourite points of conflict, and it pops up so frequently in romance novels. These two, for the most part, interacted like the adults they are.

As a hockey fan, I did have to suspend my disbelief with some of the plot points involving hockey team itself. It’s close enough to accurate and doesn’t detract from the overall story.
