Perhaps the most famous Sherlock Holmes novel, it has elements of gothic horror to it. Very atmospheric and a brilliantly constructed mystery. Nice that Holmes goes missing for a while. As if Conan Doyle is trying to wean the public from the character.

Me ha encantado. A pesar de que Sherlock me resulta cargante, con toda su inteligencia y su capacidad de observación y de deducción y, sobre todo, su soberbia, esta novela me ha encantado. La única pega que puedo ponerle son esas tres últimas páginas, en las que Holmes explica todo lo que él sabía y nosotros no, que son un poco anticlimáticas.
