Kirja piti otteessaan todella hyvin ja pääsin pitkästä aikaa kirjan imuun. Tarina kuitenkin lässähti loppua kohden enkä aivan saa kiinni miksi juuri tämä teos on niin suuressa klassikon maineessa. Joka tapauksessa Sherlock Holmesin seikkailuista on mielenkiintoista lukea.

I throughly enjoyed this as my first Sherlock Holmes books. Doyle is a fantastic writer who knows how to keep readers engaged page after page. Unpredictable, surreal, and full of suspense. This is book I would recommend to everyone. I cant wait to read more Holmes and Watson stories!

Slow, at first, but never really dull. The book winds up for a good climactic end, where all details are delivered in one final accord. A great read to begin the Sherlock Holmes series
