I think my expectations were too high. I'm not through with Holmes but I think I'll be more appreciative after some expectation adjustment.

I can´t help it - this is my favorite Sherlock Holmes mystery. Maybe because it was the first I read but I do love the moor, the mist, the howling and the legend of the dreadful monstrous dog. It´s a perfect read for a stormy winter´s evening in your favorite chair with a cup of tea beside you. (

I've never read Sherlock Holmes before, and I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and mystery!

I realised whilst doing some homework with my son, that I couldn’t name any ACD books other than this one, and have never read any. I was vaguely aware of the plot of this story and I enjoyed the narration (audiobook) by Derek Jacobi. An easy read and a nice style- I hadn’t realised that Dr Watson was the narrator of the story and I liked that, as it allowed the character of Holmes to be written as perceived by his friend. A good story overall and I may read more.

Una relectura sensacional, de esas historias que logran pegarte al libro y que no puedes parar de leer.
La calidad como escritor de Conan Doyle es indiscutible, así que léanlo!
