Another wonderful story with Magnus Chase and its adventures. I love how Rick Riordan keeps the humor in the books and has diverse topics that mix really good in the storyline. Magnus and his friends are as always amazing and funny and get into each situation as possible which makes it hilarious and adventerous. Of course Jack is an amazing sword and he is wonderful with Magnus. Definetly love the gods in it and how it even connected with Percy Jackson! Rick Riordan you did it again!

I LOVED THIS BOOK. The humor is laced through perfectly and the classic Riordan writing style is flawless. I love the diversity of the characters and how Riordan deals with the darkness in a way that it's laced with humor. The characters are complex and all have distinctly different personalities. All the characters were great, and I appreciated the humor from Otis and Jack. I really like the relationships between the characters like Sam and Alex, and both of them with Magnus. They're both distinctly different people with their own hardships and personalities but they both understand each other. I absolutely LOVED Alex. Alex gave me a new perspective on gender fluid people who I did not know much about. I loved the way Alex would confront people's reactions and the banter with the other characters.

Fantastic book.
