Of all the novellas, I was afraid to read this one because I knew reading about Anderson Station would make me tense. But I loved how it was portrayed through Fred's eyes! I loved especially the last dialog in it.

Great look at Fred Johnson's backstory. Improves his character a lot in my opinion. So much better than The Churn, which made Amos's character worse for me.

Solid little story making me intrigued about Expanse as a whole, unsure what to make of the implications it gives

Really great look into Fred Johnson and what has made him into the character we see in the main series! Really enjoyed this

An interesting short story that sheds light on how a certain supporting character got his moniker, The Butcher Of Anderson Station. Definitely helped sway my thoughts on the character as he appeared in the main first book.
A great little bridge between books 1 and 2.
