Noah Smoke was taken form an orphanage at a young age and trained to be a world-class assassin.  Now, he uses his skills to help people that are situations they can't get out of on their own. The Orphan Program is an off-the-book, black ops clandestine assassin program designed to create the perfect intelligence assets.  Even leaves/escapes the program and uses everything he has learned to disappear.  But now. someone is hunting him; they have similar skills and training and exploits Evan's secret identity to eliminate him. This story was Jason Bourne meets Hitman, so if you find those things interesting or entertaining, then this may suit you.  I am definitely interested in reading the rest of this series. I gave this book a solid 3.8 stars.

Read this one after Jordan Peterson interviewed the author. My interest was piqued and I was not disappointed. I especially liked the romance. The contrast between her life and his made the story dynamic, interesting, and different from any other thriller GI Joe type of books

4⭐️ I listened to this book because I treated myself to the rest of the series after I remembered how much I enjoyed the first two. It’s definitely different to what I normally read (or listen to) because there is so much action that goes on. But really enjoyed it for the second time, onto the next in the series! Also, i’ve seen loads of people say they hate Evan, but I honestly love him, he’s confident, assured and honestly gives king energy
