The topic is interesting and complicated in itself, but Sara manages to make you think, then question what you think, shows the other side, and then makes you think again. All with a laugh and a giggle in between.

I’d only ever seen Sara Pascoe on Taskmaster/other British comedy shows and not realised she was an author until I picked up this book at a Kinokuniya store. I was blown away by the amount of information she had packed into this book! It was simply astonishing to read; my jaw kept dropping on the train 🙈 I hadn’t given the interwovenness of money and sex much thought, but Sara discussed it in an extremely clear cut way that was easy to understand (although a bit more challenging to process). I applaud her honesty in this book and am definitely going to look into the different references she included in the end. I would highly recommend! 👏🏼

This is such a unique look at sex work, the dynamics of sex and its history of it. It's really perceptive in seeing the difficulties and contradictions in emotions we often feel and how sometimes acting out on these can have benefits and negative impacts. Well worth reading.
