One of my favorites turned into a manga ?!?!? How could I pass that up ? I thought I’d be disappointed, I expected the lose of dialog would lessen the story into something unrecognizable to the original. I did miss the detailed interactions, the little verbal snips, but they are they in a different form, visual. The illustrator did a wonderful job with bringing it to the story with facial expressions. My favorite creation, Mrs. Bennet, she is hilarious to watch in this. Mr Bingley, with his flirty ways is adorable. George, well he is gorgeous of course. All the characters are drawn in a way that fit what I remembered from the original story with just a tad more flare.
It was a fun quick visit with my old friends. It was good to see them and all their drama. I recommend this for fans with a sense of humor and a taste for romance.

pride and prejudice is one of my favorite novels and I tend to enjoy most adaptations of it. this was no different. I've read several graphic novel versions of classic novels now but this series of manga classics is my favorite. they go into just enough details and do a good job expressing the heart and essence of the original without feeling overly abridged. plus the artwork is beautiful.

This was a fun and interesting adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Updates and changes were made to the dialogue and events of the story to make the thoughts and motivations of the characters clearer to the readers. Whether or not you find this a good thing depends on how much of a purist you are. Despite the changes, I really enjoyed this graphic novel. The art is beautiful—stunning, really. This is a good way to introduce the story to a reader who feels intimidated by the original form, or it can be used as an object lesson in adaptations. It's also a great palette cleanser if you want something fun to read.

It is a middle of the road manga, in my opinion. I have never read Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice', so I'm not sure if this manga is an accurate summary/description of the book.
I enjoyed the book, but as I said earlier, it's middle of the road. It isn't anything revolutionary, but it's great for a quick and fun read! The characters were enjoyable to read about and to see them interact with each other (although I didn't like some characters

I haven't read an Austin novel since my early university days (20 years ago now! Eek!), so when I saw this I knew I had to read it This manga adaptation did not disappoint. It gave depth to Mr. Darcy not previously seen and did justice to Ms. Austins story while allowing a modern audience to access it. Great novel about letting our pride and/or prejudice getting in the way of seeing people who for who they really are. A must read for any Austin fan!
