On first reading, this is the book which taught me that not all classics are dull and hard to read. Some of them are funny, would you believe it?
Admittedly, on rereading, even Lizzie seems a little insipid at times, but I'll forgive her for that, this book had a big impact on my choices of reading materials.

I originally read this years ago on the recommendation of a friend because she loves Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice being her favorite. Classics are not really my thing but I will give them a go every now and then just to see what everyone is fussing over. I enjoyed this book, but I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as I have others like North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell or the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies version of this classic. I do recommend it if you enjoy classics or enemies to lovers trope (this being the original for that trope).
Jujur seneng banget akhirnya selesai sekaligus sedih banget since I need more Mr. Darcy interaction with Elizabeth!!! Overall seru banget diawal dengan hate dan berakhir dengan love, sebenernya sounds so cliché tapi proses menuju cintanya bener-bener bikin amazed dan kayak AAAAAAAAAAA when will I get that kind of love from someone! Never forget with the humors that this book spilled utterly make the whole book felt much better as a romance book. Seru banget asli setiap peran perempuan disini punya karakter yang beda-beda bgt dan bikin kita semua kayak paham gitu kenapa ini jadi gini dan itu jadi gitu!! Everyone should read bangeeetZ karena bagus bgt!
When asked my favorite books Pride and Prejudice easily comes in my top ten list. I reread it every few years and always tend to find something else to be utterly smitten with.

I will not speak ill of the iconic but it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single book with this much clout should not be in want of decent character development. (I’m sorry. Don’t come for me. I’m clearly a heathen with no taste or refinement.)
Such a classic that I finally was able to read and definitely funny at times! Mr. Bennet will always be my all time favorite character! I still think Lizzy only fell in love with Mr. Darcy because she saw his estate lol
