At first a little slow and somewhat sexist in the way the female triplet is portrait, although it get's better over time. At first the story seemed quite predictable, but it did have a few interesting turns as well as cool mystic creatures. Sometimes characters where created and fleshed out only to be killed of/disappeared a few pages later. Seems a little bit unnecessary.
All in all a good pick, if you are looking for a quick and easy fantasy read.
