FULL JUDGEMENT FOR THIS BOOK and I'll share the quote that made this mediocre book from 3 starts to 0 stars.

"This hunger-filled kiss of a lover who'd been waiting-and thinking about- doing this for a long time. This was the kiss of someone who was trying to be gentle but had half back long enough and couldn't restrain himself any longer. This wasn't like any of the kisses id received from dates in the past. Those had been the kisses of boys.
This was the kiss of a man.
His hands went from my shoulders to my waist, pulling me so close, I could feel every inch of his body through the thing fabric of his shirt... and his shorts. And what I felt there didn't belong to a boy either. It was thick and hard and insistent-jus t like his hands slipping under my top."

Sabrina is named for the movie. Big points for this.

It was hard for me to write in my book notes that Sabrina's dad is dead.

Mention of cheeseball.

Sabrina stays in the Hartwells' library. Sounds perfect.

Nice fluffy read, and fun characters. I think it was a little weird that Bree and Drew got together so quickly because from the beginning of the book it sounded like they had hardly interacted beyond her serving him breakfast.

This wasn’t my favorite. It’s the first of her books I’ve read and it just... I don’t know it just didn’t work for me.

As into Drew as Bree was, you couldn’t tell at all that Drew was into her. I was waiting for him to be either a total sweetheart or a douchebag that breaks her heart cuz I couldn’t tell if he even liked her. I like their banter after the hurricane passes but before that it was such an uncomfortable weird way they started even engaging with each other.
She always seemed pissed at him... and him kinda short and a bit creepy.

Towards the end, with Caleb and Kyle and her mom and the biological mom.... was soooooo dumb.
Why the hell would anyone fly out to see her two days after a hurricane when there is no power, electricity, and the place is barely functioning? That seemed like a good time for Caleb to see her and for Kyle to apologize? In a disaster zone...??????
It seemed a good time for her mom to bring her biological mother to the disaster zone to meet here?!?!?!
The ending was all rushed and made no sense.

Come to think of it, none of the relationships in this book had weight to them for me.

I just didn’t love it.

But I know everyone can read a book different so maybe some will love it.
