Enid Blyton's stories about the twins being at the boarding school were all time favourites for me when I got hold of them in translation.
Now, I savour to listen to another series of Enid Blyton's in the language they were written in.
I love this all girl school setting, the various characters and how everybody holds their own secrets and is a character in their own right.

1 hour 24 minutes - Very hard to rate and review a book I read multiple times as a child, but an enjoyable read if only because of the nostalgia it brings. It is strange to read it now and compare it to how I viewed it as a child. Darrell, the main character, is a lot less perfect than I remember. The writing is engaging, if a little strange, but it was written for the children of the 1940s so that's to be expected.
