i don't even know... i had mixed feelings about the first book, actually really liked the second book, and could barely bring myself to finish this. like a lot of reviews stated, this really just seemed like a way to write smut. which is fine but i don't know who the target audience is considering the first book was pretty much solely YA.

the only redeeming part of this book was vittoria. emilia reminded me of sophie in the school for good and evil movie, in that she went on about how powerful and evil she's supposed to be but i couldn't take her seriously! it doesn't help that i don't remember what the plot's supposed to be and could not tell the princes apart...

I loved the first book in this series so much and then.... that was kind of it. And I truly wish I'd liked it more but I just don't.

Kerri's Stalking Jack the Ripper series is one of my fave series ever and I hoped this one would be nearly as awesome but it just wasn't it for me I think

OH MY FUCK. THIS WAS SOMETHING ELSE LET ME TELL YOU. HELLO? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!

I didn’t put this book down more than once, and that was to go to sleep at 3am. It was just that good, and honestly I didn’t think this series could get any better but THIS MASTERPIECE. BUT whyyy was it fade to black at the end of the last 3 chapters? Why are you teasing me?!

Anyways, read this book, trust me.

Update: I’ve been skimming through the first two books and omg there’s so many hints and foreshadowing everywhere! I feel stupid lol
