I loved how this book was structured with the intriguing headings separting the switch of focus, it felt like first person and yet wasn't which was very effective. I loved the story and how it captured you as you got invested in each characters story and how they interlinked it was a bit predictable at time but not always in a bad way. The writing was simple yet beautiful and I loved the depiction of depression as it seemed very real but also not inescapable as is shown in the end. I also love how the final message was that love is not needed to make someone whole and you need to do that yourself which I think is a very important contribution to the romance genre. The characters were loveable yet not without their flaws and the people who ended up antagonists also had lovable traits which is one of my favourite techniques in a book as it make sit much more realistic. Overall, it was a feel good romance but not in the way you would think and I would definitely recommend it to someone fretting about being alone.
