Well, I have Kieron Gillen to blame for understanding what this book is: it's Warhammer but centered around ladies. Now that I get that I'm enjoying the book a bit more. The action in this one was fun, and the reveal of the stakes at the end made me very interested. And reading all the backmatter in both issues 1 and 2 made me really like the worldbuilding.
