I liked the premise. Witchy Men-Murdering Ladies + sapphic story. What’s not to like?

I don’t think I super liked 80% of the relationship with Midday and Midnight. They felt like toddlers with crushes on each other who gotta bully each other out of love. Also, the weird add-in with the fact that previous Midnights and Middays have fallen in love before bothered me. Plus, we had such a good spot for a poly-sapphic relationship that just didn’t happen
adventurous dark emotional

I love Slavic folklore so the concept was awesome and the book was paced really well. I do wish Beata's character felt more developed. She kind of felt like an afterthought and it made me kind of just want her to get out of the way.
