Look, the ideas were there, the concept was there... but the execution. It was simply dreadful to read this type of narration that feels like a comeback of the 2010's YA stories. It makes the pacing painfully weird and the most interesting parts aren't even on-page scenes

I should have waited to read this book until winter time. It's the perfect cozy, sit cuddled up with a blanket while it's snowing outside book. This book takes place in a polish inspire world. The descriptions are beautiful but not over done. I really like both Marynka and Zosia. They are the definition of enemies to lovers and watching them fall was great. The snark and puns are the best! Midnight Girls is an extremely quick read and I really enjoyed. 10/10 for all the vibes
