Surly entropy magician x irreverent bodyguard with a hanging threat of sacrifice over the both of them. Familiar, but paves its own way with distinct atmosphere and style.

If she allows that thought to cross her mind, the sorrow will be too much to bear. She can take the trickle, the rain whittling away a stone, water seeping into cracks, widening them until the rock crumbles. Mycena cannot withstand the flood.
