I think the entire review can be summed up as "Meh". The characters were extremely flat, the action and story predictable and the whole thing was a bit of a mess. It felt like reading someone's high school assignment. The only reason I'm giving it 2 starts instead of 1 is because I am ready to accept that the target audience is probably quite a lot younger than I am and being an outcast I guess I would have enjoyed reading this as a 13 year old.

This was ✨not good✨— everything about it was so shallow and underdeveloped. It was like we just moved from plot point to plot point without much reason. A lot of it was also super cringy and a tad dated. The writing was also very simple and uninteresting. The art style was okayyy but there were a ton of times where specifically the noses on characters had weird marks and the eyes were misshapen or the side profile just looked really off. I will not be continuing with the rest of the series.

3.5?

SUPER quick read. I'm not a huge fan of graphic novels, but I like Joe Sugg and I appreciate that he put a lot of thought into the themes of this book. I think this one is definitely good for his younger viewers because it has a lot of lessons about treating people the right way and he has a heavy influence on a lot of young people so it's good that he knows how to say the right thing in a way that will appeal to them.

After her dad dies Evie discovers that he created a world for her, a perfect virtual world for her to escape to, but when her spoilt cousin joins her things go to hell, literally.

It's an interesting story and deals well with bullying etc.

loved it! really want/need to read the other ones in the series

3* gostei da história em si mas não sou grande fã de banda desenhada.

Loved the artwork! It was beautiful. The story was great as well. I don't know why it took me so long to pick up a graphic novel!
