i feel like ive betrayed him but this wasn’t that good. the set up was interesting and gripping to then follow up with a story that went way to fast and was solved within a page and fell super flat.
there didn’t feel like there was any struggle, it was just all so easy and frankly boring.
also i have to question how much credit joe deserves for this…

The characters were relatable and plot were great, however it was too fast paced, and it lacked character development . Other then that it was pretty good for a first graphic novel.
I've never read a graphic novel before as I've never thought I would be interested in them but I was surprised after reading it. I know most people hear about this book by watching Joe on YouTube and that's the same for me but I would never buy a book if I didn't think it was worth the read. And like I said, I was pleasantly surprised. I really did love this book. All the action and drama as well as a bit of romance and high school problems all mixed into one great book. I would definitely consider reading more graphic novels in the future after this one. If you are thinking about reading one but you don't know if you'll like it, I'd say just give it ago. If you don't like it, that's fine. But you may be like me and really enjoy it. I would definitely recommend this book!

Had this on my book shelf for a while but never got round to reading it, finally picked it up and started reading, was obsessed on the first page already, amazing artwork too, can't wait to finish the series!
