The story is available online, short and kind of creepy...? But would love it to have been more creepier

That first Christmas with your significant others family is always awkward, now add in an incredibly creepy family "tradition." and things can her horrific real quick. Ada, you need to dump Lil.

While the author managed to create a gripping and atmospheric story with distinct characters, the final transformation ultimately fell short of the hype. After such a promising build-up the ending failed to convey the intended horror that had been carefully established throughout the rest of the story.
