I liked it! The characters were complex and it was good to see the motivation behind their causes towards the end. One scene threw me off
Spoiler the one where Ashley gave him that drug tea thing
although I could see why it was needed to move the plot forward. The end chapter could be predicted quite early on, so much as I won't it to happen I didn't as I didn't want it to be predictable. Gregor's family being the highlight of the first chapter was odd, as they all seemed likeable, developed characters - who we barely see again. Overall an easy, light book which was just what I needed.
