I liked it! The characters were complex and it was good to see the motivation behind their causes towards the end. One scene threw me off although I could see why it was needed to move the plot forward. The end chapter could be predicted quite early on, so much as I won't it to happen I didn't as I didn't want it to be predictable. Gregor's family being the highlight of the first chapter was odd, as they all seemed likeable, developed characters - who we barely see again. Overall an easy, light book which was just what I needed.
