I'm just not sure how to feel about this book as I sit here trying to determine what rating I want to give. It was everything that I was looking for when I picked it up: light-hearted, whimsical, a little serious, a little silly. All in all, it was pretty entertaining, and I absolutely loved the underlying theme (moral?) of having faith in yourself above all else. My inner child positively adored it!!

I did have a couple of problems with the story. It seemed sort of disjointed in some places to me, and I felt like there were some holes in places -like where did the serial killer and victims come from, in the middle of this storm? The ending of the book also kind of felt a little bit rushed to me - it certainly did not match the overall tone of the rest of the book. That said, these things really don't take away from the story all that much - I'm just picky, I think.
