I loved this book so much. I didn’t want to put it down. The characters were excellently written, the heat was palpable and I was smitten with Simon from the prologue. I also loved what a strong character Annabelle was. This was an excellent read and I can’t wait to start the next one!

4.5

I prefer books with more balanced focus on the MMC and FMC. The concept of this series needed to be established as the four wallflowers together, so it was chapter after chapter of friends interacting, with much less focus on the romance. Once she started finding him attractive, there was no conflict left.

God. This was so good!

After reading Devil in Winter more times than I can count, I decided to go back to the start of the Wallflowers series and give them all a go.

Simon and Annabelle are both characters that grew on me. This book is a hero-falls-first (one of my favorite tropes!) that really checked all the boxes. Simon is obviously physically attracted to Annabelle, but he comes to see her for more than that. Add to it that when Annabelle finally falls for Simon, she falls hard enough to make up for him having to chase her for half the book.

This book is distilled sweetness, and I'm glad I finally read it.

El libro me gusto, mientras leía estaba muy intrigaba por saber como iban a terminar comprometidos.
Sin embargo, luego de que se casan se e hizo muy raro el ritmo, supongo que es porque no estoy acostumbrada.
